The new designed Carbon Truss Ritchey-Chretien 12” telescope is now available for professional astrograph.  Carbon fiber truss tubes have low thermal expansion and lightweight characteristics.  All mirrors (primary & secondary) were made from quartz glasses and covered with 99% reflection power dielectric coating. Because of the very low thermal expansion in quartz glass, the mirrors could reach to the accuracy of hyperboloid surface much better than 1/12 wavelength.  Compared with the past RC12, the new 3" Monorail focuser is a further development of the crayford design for your heavier equipment.
